Method 1

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
In the Computer Management tree, click Disk Management.
Right-click the error drive (H), or the drive that contains the operating system, and then click Change Drive Letter and Paths.
Click Change, and change it to the original drive letter. Click OK, and then click Close.



Also, try changing the DVD or CD drive letter from (ex: D to H).

STEP 1: Backup the registry

1. Click Start, and then Run. The Run window will appear.
2. In the Open box, type: REGEDIT
3. Click OK. The Registry Editor window will appear.
4. Click Registry or File, and then click Export... or Export Registry File. The Export Registry File window will appear.
5. In the ‘Save in’ drop down box, select Desktop.
6. In the Filename box, type: Backup
7. In the ‘Save as type’ drop down box, select Registration Files.
8. In the ‘Export range’ area, select All.
9. Click Save. The Export Registry File window will close and a copy of the registry will be located on the desktop.
10. Close the Registry Editor window.
11. The registry has been copied.

STEP 2: Edit registry keys

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

3. In Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

a. Click “+” sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
b. Click on “+” next to Software.
c. Click on “+” next to Microsoft.
d. Click on “+” next to Windows.
e. Click on “+” next to CurrentVersion.
f. Click on “+” next to Explorer.
g. Click on “+” next to Shell Folders.

4. In the right pane, note the values in the Data field of each entry. If any value contains a drive that is not correct for your computer, right-click the entry, type c:\my documents in the Value data box, and then click OK.

5. Repeat step 4 for each entry whose Data value contains an incorrect drive.

Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each of the following registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

6. Close Registry Editor.

7. Now install the all-in-one software.
