| If the product does not work, manually configure the ports to the applicable IP address. NOTE: Perform these steps only if the product does not work.
Open the Control Panel.
Windows XP: On the Windows taskbar, click Start , and then click Control Panel . The Control Panel opens in a new window. Windows Vista: On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), and then click Control Panel . The Control Panel opens in a new window.
Open the Printers and faxes (Windows XP) or Printers (Windows Vista) folder.
Windows XP: Double-click the Printers and faxes ( ) icon. The folder opens in a new window. Windows Vista: Under Hardware and Sound ( ), click Printer . The folder opens in a new window. Right-click the icon for the product ( ), and then click Properties . The product Properties dialog box opens.
Click the Ports tab.
In the list of ports, find the port with the checkmark ( ), click it, and then click Configure Port .
Select Always print to this device, even if its IP address changes .
In the Printer Name or IP Address text box, type the product IP address that you established in Step four of this document.
Click OK .
Trying printing. This should fix the issue. | |
